I’ve been with the hotel for a little over a month.

What path brought you to Hotel Julien Dubuque? Please share a little bit about your professional background and what led you to this industry.

After eight years in hotel maintenance, I’m thrilled about the chance to advance my career and take on new challenges.

What are you most passionate about professionally?

I am passionate about breathing new life into things most would consider tossing in a landfill.

What are you passionate about personally?

I love my dog and exploring new creative outlets as much as possible. I’m a big hobbyist.

What is your favorite way to spend a free weekend?

I love going to the Mines of Spain with my dog, Axel. I also enjoy going to the vintage car shows during the summer.

What do you love most about Hotel Julien Dubuque?

I love the historical aspect of the hotel.

What is your personal motto?

Do what you can and don’t lose sleep over what you can’t.

Every day is different for me. I come in expecting challenges and ready to take on the day. I overcome issues one at a time.

I enjoy weaving/tufting rugs that I custom design and sell. These rugs are usually displayed as unique and colorful art pieces.
