Executive Chef Richard Dean Atteberry

 

Drawing from an impressive 25-plus year career that includes professional culinary experiences at many upscale hotels and restaurants both international and in the United States, Chef Atteberry will oversee the hotel’s food service operations, which includes Caroline’s Restaurant, in-room dining, banquets, and offsite catering services.

Originally from California, Chef Atteberry began his formal training in Scottsdale, Arizona at Scottsdale Community College, graduating in 1992 with his culinary certificate. Chef Richard brings years of experience in the hospitality industry, including positions in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Thailand, Ukraine, China, Puerto Rico, Japan, Hawaii, and New Mexico.

Chef Atteberry has worked as the executive chef at several Saudi Arabia-based hotels including Movenpick Al Nawras, InterContinental Hotel Riyadh Convention Center and Country Club, and most recently Crowne Plaza Minhal Riyadh.

With extensive experience working in fine dining and upscale restaurants all over the world, Chef Atteberry will bring a unique culinary perspective and blend of flavors to Dubuque, Iowa.
