Bio: Lenny Wayne originally hailed from the Pacific Northwest, whose imagery figures prominently in his songwriting. “Although Bob Dylan was the first artist whose music I learned to play, I was greatly influenced by the country rock sound coming out of the San Francisco Bay area in the early seventies.” As a singer songwriter he has had the privilege of playing on stage several times at the Mountain Stage New Song Festival in West Virginia, the Subdued String Band Jamboree near Seattle and Steel Bridge Festival in Wisconsin. 2008 saw the completion of Party With The Aliens, his CD of original works. “In addition to my own songs, I enjoy playing the music of the artists who have inspired me, including Neil Young, Lucinda Williams, John Prine, Marshal Tucker, Jimmy Buffett, Michelle Shocked, Bob Dylan, The Eagles and many others.”
