Dubuque to Host Inaugural Diamond Dash with Wedding Prize Package Valued at Over $25,000
(March 24th, 2015) – On April 19th, 2015, hundreds of eager couples will congregate in downtown Dubuque to vie for a wedding prize package valued at over $25,000. Hosted by American Trust, Cheryl-Ann Bridals, Hotel Julien Dubuque, and McCoy Goldsmiths & Jewelers, the inaugural Dubuque Diamond Dash will send couples on a smartphone-guided route throughout downtown Dubuque on their quest to win a dream wedding package. The Dash will start and end at Hotel Julien Dubuque with registration beginning at 8:00 am and the event kicking off at 10:00 am.
The digital scavenger hunt will feature Dubuque-themed trivia and highlight local downtown businesses through a series of challenges and questions. All proceeds from this unique, interactive community event will be given to Hills and Dales.

At the conclusion of the event, the hosting sponsors of the Dubuque Diamond Dash will award a $25,000 wedding package to the couple who accumulated the highest number of points during the two-hour dash. Designed to provide one lucky couple with the wedding of their dreams, this comprehensive prize package, featuring talented local vendors, covers all wedding-day details from venue, attire, and flowers to beauty, entertainment, and transportation.
ABOUT DUBUQUE DIAMOND DASH
The Dubuque Diamond Dash is a truly one-of-a-kind scavenger hunt during which teams of two will utilize their smartphones to answer questions and follow clues throughout downtown Dubuque. Couples will be asked to complete a challenge or answer a question at each location along the Dash route. The team with the most points at the end of the Dash will be awarded an elite wedding prize package valued at over $25,000. The event is a fundraiser with all proceeds going to Hills & Dales.
